The invention relates to a method for processing a retransmission request in distributed calculation and a device thereof. The method includes the steps of acquiring a to-be-processed retransmission request in the distributed calculation, wherein the distributed calculation relates to at least one data copy, and each data copy includes one or more copy subregions; determining the target copy subregion corresponding to the retransmission request based on the subregion response time of the copy subregion; sending the retransmission request to the target copy subregion. Compared with the prior art, the subregions are distinguished by the subregion response time of each copy subregion, and the target copy subregion corresponding to the retransmission request is determined, and the copy with the better response time can be preferentially selected in retransmission, the response time of the retransmission request is reduced, and the whole load of the cluster is reduced.
