Effects of and problems in the tenure appraisal of medico technical cadres

It is imperative under the circumstances to practice tenure appraisal of medico technical cadres as a cross century reform to perfect the talent competition mechanism and the management system of hospitals. It has been proven through practice that such appraisal has a potentially promotive effect on intensifying the development vitality, the comprehensive construction and the advancement of science and technology of hospitals. However, such appraisal still remains to be deepened and perfected. Based upon the practice of tenure appraisal in the authors hospital, the paper focuses its discussion on some general problems in the relevant practical operations and puts forward some corresponding countermeasures.
