Applications of ion exchange resin in determination of histamine in fishery products

A simple and sensitive method for the determination of histamine in fishery products was developed.The histamine in samples was primarily extracted by acetic acid solution and further separated by ion exchang resin,and detected by spectrophotometer.Relative standard deviation in this determination method was between 1.95% and 3.34%.The recovery rates of histamine were in the range of 98% to 100%.The results indicated that this developed method was characteristics of high sensitivity and accuracy,which could meet the requirement of MRL determination.
