Chemical Constituents of Mongolian Medicine Cirsium esculentum C.A.Mey

Six compounds were isolated from the root and rhizome parts of Cirsium Esculentum C.A.Mey.on the basis of MS and NMR data.Their structures were identified as β-sitosterol(1),5,7-dihydroxy-6,4′-dimeth oxyflavone(2),Acacetin(3),Daucosterol(4),linarin(5),Chlorogenic acid(6).All compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.
