PENGARUH KETERSEDIAAN KOLEKSI PERPUSTAKAANTERHADAP MINAT KUNJUNG SISWA KELAS X DAN XIDI SMA ANGKASA ADISUTJIPTO YOGYAKARTA

This research aim to know “influence of availability of collection library toward
enthusiasm of visit student class of X and of XI at SMA Angkasa of Adisutjipto
Yogyakarta”. This research is including of research of clausal asociatif. Variable
in this research is the availability of library collection (independent variable) and
visit student (dependent variable). The method of roundup of data use kuesioner,
documentation, interview, and observation. Intake of sampel by accidental
sampling, with sampel counted 58 responder. The analysis method used
quantitative analysis of linear regresi modestly. Data processed by using SPSS
version 20 for windows. Result of analysis indicate that there is influence between
availability of library collection to enthusiasm visit student. This matter can be
seen from correlation between X variable (availability of library collection) and Y
(enthusiasm visit student) which have positive sign to with value of R Square (R2)
or coefficient of determinasi is 0,060. While influence of availability of library
collection to enthusiasm visit class student of X and XI SMA Angkasa of
Adisutjipto Yogyakarta is no influence that signifikan. This matter pursuant to
result of test of T hitung to 5.210 larger ones of T tabel 1.763 with equation of the
following regresi of Y = 18.660 + 0,201X. The results showed that the number of
collections of textbooks, the number of books of fiction, and the number of school
library collections in Yogyakarta Adisutjipto Space is still in enough categories.
To increase interest in visiting students, high school library managers Adisutjipto
Yogyakarta Space can provide the collection corresponding to students' needs
such as the procurement of various types of collection of interest, a sufficient
number of collections and concerned about the quality of the collection.
