Objective: Identify the level of organizational climate in a private university in Lima and determine whether there are significant differences in the perception of it, about sex, position and length of service in the institution. Materials and Methods: Descriptive-comparative study population consisted of all administrative staff working at a private university in Lima. Questionnaire for the study of organizational climate proposed by the Ministry of Health, adapted for the purpose of this research was used, being validated by criteria of judges and analyzing reliability by the method of internal consistency, α = 0.909 obtaining a. Results: The organizational climate should improve as perceived by most of the administrative staff working in the institution studied (68.6%); no significant differences regarding sex, position and service time (p> 0.05). Conclusion: The personnel working at the university, research, demand an improvement in the organizational climate of your institution.
