Observation the effect of point massage therapy funcctional contipation in aged fracture patients

Objective:To observe the effectiveness of point massage for treating aged sickbed fracture patients with functional constipation.Methods:123 fracture patients with functional constipation were randomly divided into two groups.59 patients of observation group were treated with point massage;and 64 patients in therapy group were treated with routine therapy.The effectiveness of defecation and relapse of constipation of two groups were observed.Results:There is no significant difference between two groups,in the therapeutic effects,however,the relapse rate of the therapy group is higher than that of the observation group.(P0.01).Conclusion:The treatment effectiveness of point massage for aged sickbed fracture patients with functional constipation is definitive.It is a convenient method and can be maintained for a long time.By using this method,the adverse effects and relapse of conventional drug therapy can be avoided.
