A novel storage to design the ultrahigh cell voltage Al-ion battery by cation–π interactions

we propose a novel storage to design the ultrahigh cell voltage Al-ion battery by cation–π interactions using density functional theory (DFT) computations. The ultrahigh cell voltage can reach ~12 V, which is about six times the cell voltage of current aluminum ion batteries, and the heat loss is greatly reduced.
