Syntheses and structures of [M(CO)5{B2H4.cntdot.2P(CH3)3}] and [M(CO)4{B2H4.cntdot.2P(CH3)3}] (M = chromium, molybdenum, tungsten)

Photochemical reactions of M(CO) 6 (M=Cr, Mo, W) with B 2 H 4 .2P(CH 3 ) 3 (1) gave two types of new complexes:0 [M(CO) 5 -{B 2 H 4 .2P(CH 3 ) 3 }] (2) (M=Cr, W) and [M(CO) 4 {B 2 H 4 .2P(CH 3 ) 3 }] (3) (M=Cr, Mo, W). Structures of both types of complexes were characterized by spectroscopic measurements as well as X-ray structure analyses
