Evaluation of Detecting TSGF Levels by Immunoturbidimetric Method

2009
To evaluate the tumor specific growth factor (TSGF) levels detection method and its clinical application. The immunoturbidimetric method was compared with the technique of MEIA, and the performance characteristics such as reproducibility, linearity, influential factors of TSGF were analyzed. The TSGF levels in 120 serum samples were detected by both methods. The results showed that there was no significant difference between two methods by chi-square(χ2)test (P0.05). The positive accordant ratio was 95.7%; the negative one was 96.0%; and the total accordant ratio was 95.8% The inter and intra CVs of the serum TSGF levels with low and high value were 3.8%, 4.2% and 4.0%, 4.9% ,respectively. The linearity was good when detection level was less than 64U/mL (Y=0.899X+1.8759,r=0.9882);The serum of positive RF, SLE and high level of hemoglobin, bilirubin and lipemia had influence on the detection of TSGF levels. The detection of TSGF by immunoturbidimetric method may still fulfill the requirements of clinical laboratory.
