Virtual Design on Detection System of Sitting Posture Corrector

Incorrect sitting postures in teenagers will result in myopia and hunchback. In this paper, a non-wearable posture correction system is proposed based on thin film pressure sensor. The system is designed according to human engineering and human kinematics and it includes two parts using the concept of modularization. The pressure data is collected by the thin film pressure sensors installed on the correction holder at the obviously changing points of the 8 changed sitting postures. When the data is processed by Arduino, different sitting postures will be analyzed and judged. Then the feedback mechanism of the system will send out reminders and correct the sitting posture by combing with lighting factors. At the same time, the user can monitor the sitting posture in time at the client on the mobile APP. The system can accurately indicate the change relationship between the back and shoulder in different sitting postures, and the recognition rate of all kinds of sitting postures is up to 95%, which basically enable the detection function on sitting postures. The system is simple, convenient and effective. The user can master the siting posture situation in time with the mobile software and the reminder mechanism, so to help teenagers to correct their sitting postures.
