Observation of a threshold enhancement in the reaction γp→K+K−π+π−p at γ energies of 20–70 GeV☆

Abstract An analysis is presented of the channel γp→K + K − π + π − p. Evidence is found for a K + Kπ enhancement of mass ≈1.9 GeV and width ≈0.4 GeV. The spin-parity of the enhancement is consistent with being 1 − .
