Student performance is one of the most important indicators for assessing the quality of education, the results have a significant impact on increasing motivation for learning and the formation of professional thinking. One way to assess the quality of mastering the discipline «Pharmaceutical Chemistry» is a score-rating system of students’ knowledge. The article discusses the features of the implementation of the rating system of assessment at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, impact on the academic performance of high school students by increasing stimulation of independent weekly working as one of the elements of educational process throughout the semester.
