Repair to crater is a primary task for rapid runway repair work in war time.It has a direct effect on the procedure in rapid repair work.Confirming the work quantity of single crater can contribute to choosing the best emergency strategy by which the general work quantity is minimal and the repair time is the shortest.Owing to the deficiency,such as coarseness and complexity,of the present method,a new mathematical model is established for confirming the work quantity of the single crater,and its result proves that it is more preferable and simpler than the previous one.
