Welfare of disabled pets.

A TV programme, ‘Cutting Edge: Special Needs Pets’, broadcast on November 20, 2008, revealed that some severely disabled pets were being kept alive and provided with nappies, mobility aids, and so on. It was apparent that these animals lacked freedom to express normal behaviour, and I suspect
