Reflecting Anastigmatic Optical Systems: A Retrospective

Since their first “deliberate” development in 1905, the potentials of reflecting anastigmatic optical systems have been explored and developed by a number of talented optical design “pioneers”. This paper reviews interesting cases in this history.
