In Brazil, investigations performed for the purpose of classification and characterization of soil properties that take into account local community knowledge are still excesses, perhaps this condition is explained by the challenges proposed in the ethnopedological research approach that anthropological factors such dialogue mode to understand the spaces of production and reproduction of life.
