Individual and collective health

The authors present selected aspects of individual and collective health. The focus is on the changing model of health related to the scientific achievements in the field of medicine, health sciences, and technology. The Marc Lalonde model and its implications are analysed. A short review of the determinants of health recognized contemporarily is offered.
