Macroscopic effects of high-order harmonic and isolated attosecond pulse generation driven by two-color laser field

2011
The macroscopic effects of high-order harmonic and attosecond pulse generation driven by two-color laser field are numerically investigated by three-dimensional propagation equation. It is shown that when the 6fs/800nm and 21.3fs/400 laser pulses are focused into gas medium, a broadband supercontinuum can be generated in the plateau by adjusting the time delay between two driven pulses, the position of the entrance of gas medium, the beam waist of driving pulses and the gas pressure. A highly synchronous isolated attosecond pulse can be generated by directly filtering out the harmonics from 420—540 eV in the supercontinuum, which facilitates the experimental implementation for the isolated attosecond pulse generation by two-color scheme.
