Triazolopyrimidine moiety represents one of the privileged structures in heterocyclic chemistry. The triazolopyrimidine moiety has been extensively used as a template in medicinal chemistry for its diverse pharmacological properties. This review covering the period 2014-2019 aims to be a comprehensive and general summary of the different triazolopyrimidine syntheses.
