Ultrastructure and isozyme analysis of cultured soybean-Nicotiana fusion products
1983
Protoplasts from cultured soybean cells (Gycine max) dans tobacco leaves (Nicotiana tabacum) were fused and the cultured fusion products examined by electron microscopy. Fusion products were recognizable on the basis of plastid content for a period of 2 weeks. Chloroplasts were not detected in fusion products cultured for prolonged periods. Isoenzyme analysis confirmed the hybrid nature of the cultured cells
