The QUT Research Students’ Network (QRSnet) is a network support program for international and domestic research students at the Queensland University of Technology. Funded as a SSAF initiative in 2009, QRSnet was established to build and promote self-confidence in research and personal skills while providing a supportive safe learning environment that enhances a positive student experience and fosters student success. Students have the opportunity to meet, interact, network and engage with student life and research activities.QRSnet aims to : 1.Build networks between students and staff across QUT2.Encourage study, social and personal life balance 3.Foster personal and life skills development4.Nurture creative capabilities5.Link international and domestic students within a collegial environment to encourage learning 6.Promote student wellbeing, resilience and self-careThe target group* includes:1.Higher degree research students2.Masters by coursework students undertaking a research component3.Honours students undertaking research QRSnet workshops are offered in three streams and aligned with QUT Blueprint 6 :1.Support & Wellness (QUT Blueprint- Health & Wellbeing)2.Networking & connectedness (QUT Blueprint - Aspiration & Inclusion and Creativity & Entrepreneurship) 3.Scholarly perspectives and Experience (QUT Blueprint - Aspiration & Inclusion)
