Toxoplasma gondii Congenital Dissemination Number on Infected Pregnant Mice by Local Isolate on Difference Gestation Olds

2008
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of gestation old when pregnant mice is infected by the local isolate of Toxoplasma gondii to congenital dissemination number. Threty prenant mice were divided into three groups. Group I, control group, mice were not infected. Group II, mice were infected at at the 4,5th day gestation. Group III, mice were infected at the 14,5th day gestation. Infection dose were 20 cysts. Four days after infection, mice were sacrified, the foetuses were removed for observation the congenital dissemination were observated as described by Fux et al. (2001). The datas were analysed by student ANOVA. The result showed that the gestation old when pregnant mice is infected directly affect to the congenital dissemination number.Key words congenital dissemination number, Toxoplasma
