The invention discloses a roof single-axis photovoltaic tracking system which comprises a push bar, a driving motor, a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and a plurality of unit structures, wherein the unit structures include a photovoltaic assembly, a revolving axis, a front bearing seat, a rear bearing seat, a swing arm, a front supporting bar and two rear supporting bars, and the photovoltaic assembly is fixedly connected on the revolving axis; two close ends of the revolving axis are respectively connected with the ends of the front supporting bar and the two rear supporting bars by bearings and the bearing seats; the photovoltaic assembly is supported commonly by the front supporting bar and the two rear supporting bars; the swing arm is connected on the revolving axis between the front bearing seat and the rear bearing seat; and the push bar is connected with all the swing arms of all the unit structures, and one end of the push bar is connected with the driving motor which is connected with the PLC. By adopting a foldable mainbody bracket, the roof single-axis photovoltaic tracking system has a simple structure, small size and light weight, and is convenient to transit and install, is not required for a basic structure, does not damage a roof, and is strong in practicability and stability and low in later maintenance cost.
