Method for rehabilitation treatment of patients suffering vertebral-spinal injury

2013
FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: patient's body or major parts thereof are fixed in suspension loops of Exart corrective therapeutic apparatus, and while lying or sitting on a support or having the suspension loops lifter above the support patient does the exercises. After each exercise, the patients takes up the initial position (IP) again. In the initial position lying on his/her back: head, pelvic girdle, and legs are fixed in the suspension loops, holding the position; head rotations and bends; shoulder girdle motions; maximum pelvis lift up and rocking, spreading legs and bringing them together; alternative lift ups of the right and left parts of the pelvis; knee flexion and extension; bringing the elbow and opposite knee together alternatively . In the initial position sitting on the support with the elbows bent, and the forearms and hands fixed in the suspension loops; inclined body rotations and side bows. In the initial position sitting in the suspension loop above a couch, with hands resting against the patients behind, and stretched legs lying on the couch: pelvis lift ups with support of one arm; pelvis turnoffs; pelvis lift ups with lower back extensions and an increase of pelvis inclination, and lower back flexions with a decrease of pelvis inclination. In the initial position with the body upright, the forearms and hands fixed in the suspension loop at the chest level: spreading the hands and stretching the body; flexion and extension of the stretched hands, rotations of the shoulder joints inwards and outwards. In the initial position lying on the side, on the support with the lower forearm and upper hand, the pelvis fixed in the suspension loop at the shoulder level, the legs stretched on the support. Alternatively on each side with his/her upper leg in the suspension loop, the patients exhales and involves the buttocks, pectoral girdle and lifts the pelvis up. EFFECT: method provides forming the positions and motions in the patients with an vertebral-spinal injury by generating random pectoral muscular contraction, propriospinal coordination, sitting and rotation functions in the complicated environment, physiological spinal curvatures, improving postural regulation, increasing the extension range in major joints, with the body included into a single biokinematic chain. 2 cl, 2 ex
