Simulation of Nonlinear Collaboration Dynamics for Strategic Decision Making
2007
Modelling and simulation are commonly used to explore the dynamic behaviour of complex technical and socioeconomic systems. An approach using system dynamics models to describe and predict dynamic collaboration structures within and between companies is introduced. System dynamics is based on equation based modelling and continuous simulation and has been applied successfully to support strategic decision making. An example focusing on collaboration in consultancies illustrates the application of the simulation framework and outlines the benefits of this approach.
