Simulation Research on the Prevention Measures for Ferro-resonance in 10 kV Networks

The ferro-resonance in the neutral ungrounded power system is common fault which seriously impacts the safe operation of power system and measures should be taken to reduce its influence.Based on the 10 kV neutral ungrounded power system of connecting a nonlinear resistance or a single-phase potential transformer,or their combination,this paper simulates and analyzes the prevention measures.Through the simulation,it is found that the combination measure not only reduces transient current and overvoltage,but also reduces the zero sequence voltages which have bothered operation staff for a long time.
