Carta a un estudiante de arquitectura

Based on the text “A Letter to an Architecture Professor”, published in Bitacora 37, this essay reconsiders the notion of mistake within the architecture community, particularly into the academic scope, in order to transform it and prove it right as an important and necessary event. It opposes some professor’s views (considering unnecessary minutiae), that result in obliviousness to the critical conditions that the architect and the student actually face. “A letter to an Architecture student” is a reformulation of the precepts of the former text; it invites readers to reflect on the mutable nature of architecture, while at the same time it promotes the search of viability beyond method.
