High-resolution angle-resolved photoemission study of LaRh3B2

Abstract We report high-resolution angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy of LaRh 3 B 2 , which is a nonmagnetic reference compound of RRh 3 B 2 (R: rare-earth metals). We found two hole-like Fermi surfaces (FSs) and two electron-like FSs centered at Γ ( A ) and K ( H ) points, respectively. The estimated volume of FSs at Γ ( A ) point shows a good agreement with the LDA band calculation, while the band dispersion and the topology of FSs at K ( H ) point show a remarkable disagreement.
