Research of the LFMCW radar application in automobile anti-collision

With the increasing number of vehicles in modern society,vehicle collision avoidance technology has become the key to protect the safety of the people and improve the transport sector.The purpose of this project is to research an automobile collision avoidance system to ensure the normal operation of the system without reducing the capacity of the road when it can effective anti-collision.This system utilizes the principle of the LFMCW radar's the linear FM characteristics and the Doppler effect and can measure the two-vehicle distance while achieving a judgment of relative movement.Then combine the two measured values to achieve an effective anti-collision.This paper describes determination of the specific parameters of LFMCW radar used in automotive collision avoidance system,analysis of principles.
