Electrospinning fabrication and performances of flexible co-axial microbelts and arrays endowed with luminescence-conduction bifunctionality

2021
Co-axial microbelt and array with luminescence and electrical conductivity have been prepared via electrospinning technology. Each co-axial microbelt (named as CAM) is composed of a conductive core and a luminescent shell. The samples are characterized by modern analytical techniques and some meaningful conclusions are drawn. The results reveal that the prepared microbelts have obvious co-axial structures. The thickness and width of the obtained co-axial microbelt are respectively ca. $1.04\ \mu\mathrm{m}$ and $12\ \mu\mathrm{m}$ . Every individual co-axial microbelt in the array is independently conductive. The luminescent intensity can be respectively tuned by adjusting the contents of doped luminescent materials and conductive substances in the electrospinning products. In addition, the electrical conductivity of the core of co-axial microbelt can be adjusted by changing the content of conductive substances.
