Synthesis of α-Amino Acid Derivatives of Fullerene C60 with Antiviral Properties
2016
The new functional-derivatives of fullerene C60-aminoacid have been synthesized in a sodium salt and in free form: N-C60 (H)6 (Gly-ONa)6 ∙ 10H2O (I); N, N- C60 (H) 8 (L-Lys-ONa)4 ∙ 10H2O (II); N, N-C60 * (H)5 ((Gly -ONa *)3 (L-Lys-ONa)2) ∙ 10H2O (III); N, N -C60* (H)7((Gly -ONa*)3 (L-Asp* -ONa)2 L-Arg-ONa ∙10H2O (IV). These composites and their antiviral activities against A/H5N1 virus in vitro on PK cell culture have been investigated using chemical and spectroscopy methods. The results shown that the synthesized compounds in the form of sodium salt have the ability to inhibit the replication of the virus A/H5N1. Compound (IV) has the maximum antiviral activity.
