Research on Shipborne Short Wave Water Antenna Array

A design scheme of water antenna array for emergency communication of ships is proposed. The scheme demonstrates the feasibility of using water pump to form a good conducting water column for radiating wireless signals, and the feasibility of using multiple jet pumps to form a directional radiation antenna array of wireless signals. The typical design parameters of short wave and ultra short wave band are given. The radiation pattern of the designed water antenna unit and the water antenna array, as well as the distribution of electric field intensity around the ship, are calculated by simulation, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
