There is provided a process for the preparation of an insulator layer. This comprises the following steps: A) providing a precursor containing a first, a second and a third component comprises a mixture, in which - the first component comprises a compound of general formula IA in which R - the second component comprises a compound of the general formula IIA wherein R - the third component comprises at least one amine compound B) applying the precursor onto a substrate; C) curing the precursor to form the insulator layer.
