MONITORAMENTO DO METAL CROMO TOTAL NA BACIA DOS RIOS GARÇAS E ARAGUAIA NA ÁREA URBANA DE BARRA DO GARÇAS/MT: A IMPORTÂNCIA DO CONTEXTO NO PROCESSO DE ALFABETIZAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA

This work is the result of a project developed on the Araguaia and Garcas rivers, an urban perimeter of the city of Aragarcas in Goias state and Barra do Garcas and Pontal do Araguaia in Mato Grosso. Our objective was to outline the teaching of chemistry from a real and local problem, demonstrating in the process the importance of chemical knowledge in the reading and interpretation of phenomena arising from anthropic action in nature. The research is mixed due to the association between quantitative and qualitative data. Our data comes from the context revelations (rivers) and the analyzes, which had as reference the method NBR 10.739 of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT) and the technique of atomic absorption spectrometry (EAA). The evidence during, and the reports after the end of the research, served as a basis for the verification of student instrumentalization, showing the importance of the appropriation of chemical knowledge and of context in scientific literacy.
