A segmented and isolated differential bus interface circuit

Full-duplex differential parallel bus is widely used in the postal and logistics automated sorting equipment. But a longer bus may adversely affect installation, maintenance and driving ability for engineering application.A segmented isolated differential bus interface circuit is proposed,which is applied at each node circuit on the bus, as the interface between a host computer and the adjacent module circuit or the two module circuits adjacently. It is compatible with control system in the original communication protocol, but also can be a electrical isolation for the host computer and each module circuit. A long bus can be divided into several segments, and the length of each segment is the distance between a host computer and the adjacent module circuit or two module circuits adjacently. The application makes an easy installation and maintenance, and improves the driving capability and robustness for bus signals.
