Modular machine tool design method

The invention discloses a modular machine tool design method. The method comprises the following steps: firstly performing module division on a given machine tool by using an edge betweenness search algorithm according to functions, structural characteristics and processing and assembly conditions to establish a functional module library; secondly performing normalization on interfaces among functional modules by using a matching selection interface algorithm and establishing an interface database based on the interfaces; thirdly establishing a variant design library of all parts inside the functional modules; and finally performing combined modeling on the functional module library, the interface database and the variant design library in the software environment to obtain a three-dimensional model of the machine tool. The method can quickly obtain products, which can respond the demands on both performance and specification according to requirements of customers, and can realize the modular design of the machine tool.
