According to one embodiment, disclosed is an energy-harvesting apparatus using ferro-fluid. More particularly, disclosed is the energy-harvesting apparatus using ferro-fluid, which can increase energy generation efficiency by using a lubricating agent to reduce friction force. The energy-harvesting apparatus, according to one embodiment, can comprise: a housing having an inner space; a magnet part placed in the housing; a harvesting part provided at the outer side of the housing and capable of generating power by means of the change of magnetic force of the magnet part; and a lubricating part for reducing friction between the magnet part and the housing, wherein the harvesting part can generate the power according to the movement of the magnet part caused by external vibration. The lubricating part can include the ferro-fluid. The ferro-fluid reduces a friction coefficient between the housing and the magnet part, thereby increasing the efficiency of energy generation.
