A packaging configuration (20A, 20B) of a cable comprising: - a bundle of cylindrical wires (21) in which a cable (1) is wound in a figure eight; - a retaining element (22) disposed on an outer circumferential portion of the harness, the harness pararetener; and - a container housing (28) for receiving the wire bundle and the retaining element, characterized in that: the retaining element is a packaging film.
