The invention provides a thermal treatment technology for a super-long aluminum alloy extruded profile with the length larger than 5 m. The technology includes the steps that firstly, a super-long 6061 aluminum alloy profile thermally extruded at the temperature of 450 DEG C is rapidly cooled through a cooling water tank; then, certain tension is applied to the two ends of the profile, so that the profile is lengthened by 2% to 3%; and finally, the profile is subjected to aging treatment for 10 hours at the temperature of 200 DEG C. The technology is characterized in that after the super-long thermally-extruded profile is cooled through the water tank, the strength of the profile is improved to a certain degree, and the profile cannot be greatly twisted; certain tension is applied to the two ends of the profile, so that the profile is lengthened by 2% to 3%, a workpiece straightening effect can be achieved, certain deformation can be provided for later aging treatment, and a strengthening effect is good. By the adoption of the technology, the strength of the super-long aluminum alloy profile can be improved, the straightness of the super-long aluminum alloy profile can be guaranteed as well, a method is simple and practical, and the equipment structure is simple and easy to achieve.
