SYNTHESIS AND ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY OF SUBSTITUTED FLUOROBENZOTHIAZOLE FUSED 1,2,4+TRIAZOLE

A series of new substituted fluorobenzothiazole fused 1,2,4*triazole derivatives were synthesized, purified and characterized on the basis of IR, 1 H NMR and Mass spectral (MS) studies. Further title compounds were evaluated for antibacterial and antifungal by Cup plate agar diffusion assay method. Among the compounds tested, D4 and D11 showed significant antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and D1 and D10 showed promising antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa . Further titled compound screened for antifungal activity against Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger in which D2, D 4, D 5, D 7, D 9, D10 and D11 showed significant activity as
