De-coupling controlled integration structure for two-stage distributed DC boost converter system

2003
Input/output impedance of every individually regulated standalone load converter should be carefully considered before it is integrated into a distributed power system. To loose the limitation on load converter set up by impedance specification, we break up the conventional integration method based on individually regulated converters. Through analysis on the unidirectional character of quasi-static interaction among dc-dc converters in two- stage distributed dc boost converter system, we develop a novel integration structure based on de-coupling control method, which can realize on-line modification of the control signal of load converters and actively decrease subsystem interaction. De-coupling controlled integration structure devotes to the improvement on system dynamics and robustness against input power perturbation, which are verified by simulation results of two example two-stage distributed dc power converter systems.
