Study of Copolymer-Homopolymer Blends

Some years ago, we started studying the structure and thermodynamics of binary and ternary copolymer-homopolymer blends. Two aspects have been developped. The first one concerns the investigation of demixing in such systems; the second one focuses on the formation of block copolymer micelles in the case of binary blends of a block copolymer with one of the parent homopolymers. In the present paper are given some of the results we have obtained for polystyrene-polybutadiene (PS-PB) block copolymer-homopolymer systems.
