Map-free navigation system and navigation method based on cloud service

The invention relates to navigation technology and discloses a map-free navigation system based on cloud service, which simplifies the design of a navigation terminal and reduces the cost. The key technical proposal of the invention lies in that the map-free navigation system based on cloud service comprises the navigation terminal and a cloud server; the navigation terminal is used for establishing communication with the cloud server so to upload the current position information and the destination position information acquired by the navigation terminal to the cloud server and to receive the route information sent by the cloud server to conduct navigation operation; the cloud server is used for conducting route calculation according to the current position information and the destination position information uploaded by the navigation terminal and for monitoring the navigation terminal and the navigation route in real time so as to provide real time error correction function. In addition, the invention further provides a map-free navigation method based on cloud service. The map-free navigation system and the navigation method are applicable for navigation of vehicles.
