Simultaneous IR and Visible Light Measurements of the Solar Granulation

Movies of the solar granulation were made simultaneously at 5575 A and 1.64 e using the Vacuum Tower Telescope at NSO/SP. A 128 ×128 HgCdTe array was used in the infrared and an RCA 504 CCD in the visible. From the movies, we determine and compare statistical properties of the granulation and seeing conditions.
