Diagnosis of postoperative thrombophlebitis

: 107 patients were explored using a radioisotope method. An acute thrombosis of the lower extremities veins postoperatively developed in 71 of them (66.3%). The radioisotope method is considered to be a simple and safe method for early diagnosis of the postoperative venous thrombosis.
