Estudio informétrico de la visibilidad e impacto de la revista Cuadernos de Desarrollo Rural en ISI Web of Science y Scopus

This thesis aims to make study informetric analysis of the journal Cuadernos de Desarrollo Rural, Faculty of Environmental and Rural Studies at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. The objects sources of related studies to the journal Cuadernos de Desarrollo Rural are ISI Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus in a period between the periods 2007-2013 ISI Web of Science and Scopus 2008-2013, dates which was indexed. This informetric study focuses on obtaining indicators from the visibility and impact of the journal in the sources under study, in order to know its current status. Indicators as production of authors, institutions, country, number of events are evaluated, among others. Data obtained from informetric study, the editorial team will serve to improve the processes that take place in the journal.
