A process for thermal cracking of organic waste

2014
The method is used for the thermal cracking of the organic waste materials which have a melting point of less than 250 ° C. The production of synthesis gas from, for example, organic waste materials with a low melting point is often difficult because the materials evaporate, and can get into the gas stream discharged without decomposition. To avoid this, it is proposed to meter the organic waste material in liquid and / or vapor form in the ascending gas flow in countercurrent to one configured as has been heated bulk material moving bed energy buffer, and to divide the organic waste material during the flow of the energy buffer under reductive conditions thermally to synthesis gas, wherein the characteristic temperature of the energy buffer having a gradient which decreases in the flow direction of the synthesis gas formed.
