Recurrent Kidney Stones and Parathyroid Adenoma

2020
A 29-year-old female presented to the out-patient Department of Surgery with history of recurrent kidney stones. Patient was on medical management for recurrent kidney stones for the last 5 years and even had undergone uretroscopic lithotripsy (URSL) for impacted left ureteric stone. Patient was evaluated in the past but no primary diagnosis was made. We evaluated and the patient was found to have hypercalcaemia (11.8 g/dl) with raised parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels.
