El sitio paleolítico de modo 2 de Algetares (Algeciras, Cádiz): excavación arqueológica, descripción del depósito y análisis de la industria lítica y sus procesos técnicos

This paper focuses on the fi rst results from the archaeological excavation in Algetares's Paleolithic (Algeciras, Cadiz). A geological description of this site is presented, together with and a fi rst advance to the study of the lithic industry and technical processes of carving. In addition, we go deep into its historical contextualization in the modo 2 in the southern part of the Iberian Peninsula.
